Vavasour Riesling 2017 vintage is slightly off-dry style Riesling is full of bright florals and citrus with a cut of freshly squeezed lime, citrus blossom and the Awatere Valley’s hallmark minerality. The fruit for our Riesling was fermented cool in stainless steel tanks with selected yeast strains and spent 6 months on the lees, allowing us to retain the vibrant fruit flavours of the variety. As a result, this wine has a lovely mix of freshness, richness and complexity.
