On the nose the intense aromatics of white pepper and red cherry fruit are intertwined with floral and spicy notes. The palate is supple and elegant with velvety smooth tannins providing the backbone to this succulent and textured Syrah Viognier blend. This is our fifth release of Syrah/Viognier. With each release we have been delighted with the way in which Martinborough Syrah has been embraced by wine drinkers. Although better known for our Pinot Noirs, recent years have seen us achieve notable success and favourable reviews for this style of cool climate Syrah.
