Vavasour Papa Chardonnay 2018 has a bouquet of stone fruit with white peach, brioche and a flinty complexity. The palate is a concentrated balance of stone fruit with a creamy acidity, lingering mineralogy and complex savoury notes.
Named for the compact blue-grey mudstone that holds tight to the roots of Vavasour's established vines, this is a generous wine made from small parcels that speaks clearly of this most singular place.
