Becoming a Member
It's free to become a member - just sign up using our sign up form.
To start earning Foley Points, first you need to sign up to The Foley Wine Club online. It's free and easy to do - simply fill in your name and email and set an account password in the sign up form (link above). Make sure you're logged in when you make an order and you'll earn Foley Points on your order.
No, you don't. Anyone can buy wine from The Foley Wine Club by checking out as a guest.
Please reach out to us as marketing@foleywines.co.nz if you would like to change the email address on your account.
If you need to reset your password, click 'Forgot Password' from the login screen and you'll be emailed a password reset link, or reach out to us and we can send you a password reset link for your account.
Earning Foley Points
You'll earn 1 Foley Point for every $1 spent on The Foley Wine Club or on cases purchased from our cellar doors. If your wine purchase is $117 for example, you'll earn 117 Foley Points.
The Foley Wine Club offers a generous rewards programme. The redemption value of Foley Points is calculated at 12.5% of what you spend. For example, if you spend $400, you will earn 400 Foley Points which can be redeemed for a reward of '$50 to Spend'.
You'll earn Foley Points on wine or gin purchased from www.foleywineclub.co.nz if you are logged into your member account. You'll also earn Foley Points when you purchase a case of wine from our cellar doors at Mt Difficulty and The Runholder. Foley Points can't be earned at partner businesses or by buying the same wines from any other retailer or website.
If you forget to log in, you will automatically earn Foley Points on your online purchase if using the same email address to checkout. If you are purchasing at our cellar doors and forget to give your email address, let us know and we can add them manually for you.
When you are logged into your member account, your Foley Points balance is shown via the green My Rewards tab located at the bottom righthand side of our site. We will also let you know via email when your balance is updated (for example when you earn or redeem Foley Points).
Foley Points expire 2 years from the date they were earned, or 2 years from the last date you earned or redeemed Foley Points, whichever the latter. Your whole Foley Points balance will expire after 2 years of inactivity. We'll send you an email a month before your Foley Points are due to expire to give you a chance to redeem them.
Sometimes we run promotions for Bonus Foley Points on top of the 1 Foley Point you earn for every dollar spent. If not immediately, these will be added to your account within 2 working days of purchasing an eligible product.
Yes. As long as you don't share your login details, only you can access your member account and your Foley Points. Foley Wines is an NZX listed company with over a thousand New Zealand shareholders.
Foley Points are available for members of The Foley Wine Club. Shareholders are welcome to become members but we'd suggest checking out the exclusive benefits Shareholders receive.
Redeeming Rewards
You can redeem your Foley Points for '$ to Spend' on The Foley Wine Club. You can put this towards your next wine order or an experience or retail voucher for one of our wineries, cellar doors, restaurants, bars, or events.
You can start spending your Foley Points once you reach 400 Points. You can redeem your Foley Points for '$ to Spend' on The Foley Wine Club via the green My Rewards tab located at the bottom righthand side of our site. You'll receive an email with a reward code. Select a case or two of wine or an experience or retail voucher and add to cart. Apply your discount code at checkout and complete your order.
Your reward code starts with one letter, followed by a string of numbers. Please note that your code might start with a capital 'i' (I) or capital 'o' (O), which can easily be mistaken for a (1) or zero (0). Copy and paste the code to be sure. If your code still doesn't work, please contact us.
You can redeem your first reward when you reach 400 Foley Points which will get you '$50 to Spend' on The Foley Wine Club. If you want to purchase a case of wine or experience voucher that is priced greater than $50, you can part pay by applying your reward code at checkout and pay the balance. You can also pay for experience vouchers in full with dollars if you wish.
No. When you redeem your Foley Points for '$ to Spend', the Points value will be taken off your Foley Points balance and you'll receive a reward code for your '$ to Spend'. Your reward code can only be used once, so if your order is of a lesser value than your '$ to Spend' reward, you won't receive any change. Foley Points aren't transferable for cash.
Yes you can buy an experience or retail voucher with dollars, just add the voucher to cart and checkout as normal. You can also part-pay for an experience or retail voucher by appying your reward code at checkout and paying the balance with dollars.

One of the main reasons for starting the Foley Rewards programme is to help businesses around New Zealand, especially those who have been such great supporters of our wines and gin over the years. If you have a suggestion we’d love to hear it – especially if you’ve seen our brands on their shelves. Please note we have criteria our partners must meet.
No, Foley Points can only be earned and spent by one user. However you can gift physical cases of wine, experience or retail vouchers to another person once redeemed.
